NEW in dCM

Legally compliant time tracking. Finally without the Excel chaos.

Since the 2022 ruling of the German Federal Labour Court (BAG) of 13 September 2022, every employer in Germany has been required to record working hours systematically. The new dCM time tracking handles this in a legally compliant way, from clocking in and out to the signed monthly timesheet.

  • Punch clock, web timer & manual entry
RFID terminal, one-click timer in the browser or retroactive entry with mandatory approval, accurate to the minute and with automatic night-shift detection.
  • Breaks under the German Working Hours Act (ArbZG) & leave under the German Federal Leave Act (BUrlG): in the code, not in Excel
Automatic break deduction (30/45 minutes), legally compliant leave calculation with carry-over and forfeiture on 31 March, public holidays for all 16 German federal states.
  • Flexitime account with weekly corridor
Working-time models as a band “from … to … hours” instead of rigid target hours, plus an automatic overtime/undertime account per calendar week.
  • Approval workflow & signed monthly timesheets
Multi-level approval with substitution rules. Employees and supervisors sign monthly timesheets digitally.
  • Tamper-proof audit log
Every change is recorded with timestamp, author and before/after state, so you are ready for works councils and audits.

Recorded time becomes revenue.

Because time tracking is embedded in a complete ERP, it doesn’t stop at the timesheet:

  • Project time → invoice
Bill recorded project hours directly to the customer as an outgoing invoice.
  • Travel expenses → accounting
Approved travel expenses flow into accounting as incoming invoices.
  • No duplicate data entry
Working hours, leave and the personnel file interlock, giving you one data basis instead of five lists.

Why dCM

One system instead of five isolated tools.

Separate tools for invoicing, banking, CRM, tickets and time tracking mean duplicate data maintenance and manual handoffs. dCM brings everything into one software.

Everything from a single source

From quote to order to paid invoice, everything runs as one continuous process. Emails automatically become cases, incoming calls open the customer record, project time turns into an invoice. One login, one data basis.

Compliance built in

Document locking under GoBD (German principles for proper digital bookkeeping), e-invoicing as ZUGFeRD and XRechnung, GDPR with retention periods and a dual-control principle for sensitive HR data, plus DATEV export for your tax advisor.

Who is dCM for?

Built for small and medium-sized businesses with 20 to 500 employees.

Six typical starting points, and how dCM removes the pain.

IT service providers & agencies

Billable hours getting lost between the ticket system and the invoice? In dCM, project time becomes an outgoing invoice with one click, while budgets, timesheets, tickets and 3CX telephony live in the same system.

Skilled trades & field service

Paper timesheets and carbon-copy delivery notes? dCM brings a punch clock and shift models for your operation, delivery notes with digital proof-of-delivery signature via link, and travel expenses with an approval workflow.

Trade & distribution

Items, warehouse and documents in separate systems? dCM connects materials management with tiered pricing, stocktaking and inventory valuation directly to the document flow, including e-invoicing and dunning.

Consulting & professional firms

Timesheets and budgets managed by hand? dCM records billable time per project with time and money budgets, generates signable timesheets as PDFs and hands accounting over via DATEV export.

Switchers from c-entron & Hamburger Software

Afraid of a hard system cutover? The dCM connectors synchronise customers, items, documents and payment status with c-entron and Hamburger Software, so both systems run in parallel until you are ready.

Growing corporate groups

Several companies, no overall view? dCM links entities with passwordless switching and consolidates revenue and KPIs across the group in the BI cockpit, intercompany elimination included.

Extensibility

If something is missing, we build it.

dCM is developed by us in Greven, Germany, without detours via manufacturers or third parties.

dCM is modular: you activate only the building blocks you need and add more as you go. If you are missing a feature, a module or an integration, we implement it directly: custom modules for your processes, interfaces to merchandise management, accounting or your phone system, and automations that take routine work off your plate. That way dCM always stays close to what your business really needs, while you keep a standard software product with continuous updates.

How dCM grows with you

  • Custom modules, made to measure
Domain-specific extensions built for your workflows
  • Interfaces & imports
ERP connectors, banks (FinTS), email, phone system, APIs
  • Workflows & automation
Recurring tasks run in the background
  • Updates without project overhead
We roll out new versions and your extensions are preserved

FAQ

Good to know.

Which companies is dCM suitable for?
dCM is built for small and medium-sized companies with roughly 20 to 500 employees, from IT service providers to skilled trades and commerce to consulting and professional firms. Thanks to its modular design, you start with only the building blocks you need. From there, dCM scales up with you to a small corporate group with multi-entity support and group consolidation.
Does dCM fulfil the legal obligation to record working hours?
Yes. Since the 2022 ruling of the German Federal Labour Court (BAG) of 13 September 2022, every employer in Germany must record working hours systematically. dCM time tracking provides a punch clock, web timer and manual entry with mandatory approval, complete with break deduction under the German Working Hours Act (ArbZG), leave calculation under the German Federal Leave Act (BUrlG), public holidays for all 16 German federal states, signed monthly timesheets and a tamper-proof audit log.
Is dCM GoBD compliant and ready for e-invoicing?
Yes. Issued documents are locked in accordance with GoBD (German principles for proper digital bookkeeping) and are immutable; corrections are handled via cancellation or credit note with a full audit trail. dCM generates e-invoices as ZUGFeRD 2.x and XRechnung according to EN16931, and there is a DATEV export for your tax advisor.
What does dCM cost?
Getting started is free: the free entry-level plan lets you try dCM risk-free. After that, pricing depends on the modules you book and the number of users, in a monthly model that includes hosting, updates, backups and support. Contact us without obligation and we will prepare a suitable quote.
Can we switch from c-entron or Hamburger Software?
Yes, ready-made connectors are available: dCM synchronises customers, suppliers, items and documents from c-entron and the Hamburger Software order processing system, including payment-status write-back. That makes for a smooth migration: both systems run in parallel until you switch over completely, with no data loss and no hard cutover.
Where does dCM run?
dCM runs as a web application in your browser, so there is nothing to install on your machines. It is operated on our own servers in the NTT data centre in Frankfurt am Main with a backup location in Germany, GDPR compliant and powered by 100% green electricity.
